Martin Scorsese's favorite movie, The Leopard(1963) was released in 1963 and doesn't only have an interesting plot and great cast, but also a stunning wardrobe. In charge of the somptuous costumes was Piero Tosi who recieved his first Academy Award Nomination for his work on this movie.

One of my favorite couples on sceen is this one between Alain Delon and Claudia Cardinale!

A work of art in front of a work of art.It doesn't get better than that.

The action takes place in 1860 in Sicily and is about a noble aristocrat played by Burt Lancaster who tries to preserve his family and class amid the tumultuous social upheavals.

The most beautiful gown was this white one worn by Claudia Cardinale, but let's not forget about the gorgeous hairstyle and those flowers in her hair.

at the premiere

When you name you movie "The Leopard" i think is a must to bring an actual leopard to its premiere and let the actors pet it.

  1. That looks more like a cheetah. I'm not sure they would have wanted a leopard there, then again, I'm not sure how tame cheetahs can be either.
