Must Have: The Peasant Blouse

No comments:
The peasant blouse, also called "ie", is a traditional piece of clothing that has been modernised over the years by the biggest fashion houses. The trend was very popular in the 60's and the 70's and in 1976, Yves Saint Laurent created the "rich peasant" or "peasant chic" look.Other brands that are popular for showcasing it in their fashion shows are: Emilio Pucci, Etro or Gucci.Tom Ford made it appear even more sophisticated with fringed skirts and Givenchy with leather peants.

When Kate Moss collaborated with Topshop and Altuzarra created a line for Target, every single girl wanted one of their embroidered blouses/dresses, because they had such beautiful designs.
